Depends on job and weather I can complete in a single visit or take with me. Sometimes you have to study the problem then research possible answers(test). My first pro job here but have been fixing friends (3 pcs/1 laptop) for a while now/malware problems mostly but last solved 8/1/10 was install of new browser because port 443 wouldn't open - that is signing into a secure site like Yahoo email or Facebook etc...
